The Autron AI Agent always works against one seller and one marketplace at a time — your active workspace. This article covers the three things you'll do around workspaces: connect an Amazon seller, see which of your sellers are connected, and switch the active workspace from the sidebar.
Two ways to switch workspace. This article covers the sidebar workspace switcher — the point‑and‑click way. You can also just ask the agent in chat ("switch to my UK account") — see Working with multiple seller accounts and marketplaces.
Sellers, marketplaces, and workspaces
Three terms worth keeping straight:
Seller — a connected Amazon Seller account. Some companies have one; agencies and multi‑brand teams have several.
Marketplace — a regional Amazon storefront (US, UK, DE, …). One seller can sell into several marketplaces, each with its own Amazon Ads profile.
Workspace — the active seller + marketplace the agent is currently working in. Every metric, campaign list, and change applies to that workspace until you switch.
Settings → Connections
Open Settings → Connections to see every seller in your company in one place, each with its current connection health. It's the hub for connecting new sellers and fixing ones that need attention.
Each row shows:
The seller name and a region badge — NA, EU, or FE. A connection is region‑level (you connect once per region), so there's no per‑country code here.
A status chip telling you the connection's health at a glance.
What the status chips mean
Chip | Meaning |
Connected (lime) | Both Selling Partner and Amazon Advertising are authorized. The agent can read and manage this seller. |
Setup required (yellow) | One side is authorized but not the other (e.g. Selling Partner connected, Advertising not). Open the seller and finish the missing step. |
Not connected (grey) | No authorization yet. Connect it to start using it. |
Click any row to open that seller's connection page.
Connecting a seller
From the Connections list, click a seller (or Connect Amazon in the empty state) to open its page. Connecting has two authorizations, shown as two rows you complete in turn:
Selling Partner — grants Autron access to your Seller Central data.
Amazon Advertising — grants Autron access to manage your ads.
Each row shows a Connect button until it's authorized, then flips to a checkmark with a Reconnect option (use Reconnect if access ever lapses). When both are green, the seller's chip turns Connected.
One connection per region. If you operate in more than one Amazon region (North America, Europe, Far East), each is a separate connection — connect them individually. For the full Amazon‑side authorization walkthrough (and why an advertising tool needs Selling Partner access), see Connecting your Amazon seller account to Autron.
The workspace switcher
The workspace switcher lives in the sidebar and shows your current seller and marketplace. Click it to change which workspace the agent is working in — no need to log out, open a new tab, or start a new chat.
In the dropdown you can:
Search for a seller by name (handy when you manage many).
Pick a marketplace — sellers are grouped, with a row per marketplace, so you can jump straight to, say, the UK storefront of a seller.
After you select one, the agent's active workspace updates immediately and everything you ask next applies to it.
Switching syncs everywhere. Your active workspace is saved to your session and synced to the main Autron dashboard — so the next time you open the dashboard, it's already on the seller you were just working with. No manual switch needed.
Picking a "Setup required" seller won't trap you. If you select a seller that isn't fully connected yet, the switcher takes you straight to that seller's connection page to finish setup — rather than switching you in and stranding you on the onboarding screen. Sellers that are connected but still syncing stay fully switchable.
Admins: the switcher's search reaches across companies, so you can jump into any connected workspace for support or impersonation. Cross‑company selections are marked, and switching persists the new active workspace just like your own.
Connection alerts in the sidebar
Two sidebar banners surface the state of your active workspace so you're never guessing:
Connection issue — "Amazon needs to be reconnected." Appears when the active seller's Selling Partner or Advertising access has lapsed. Click it to jump straight to that seller's connection page and reconnect.
Training your AI — "Syncing & learning your data. This may take up to 24 hours." Appears right after you connect a seller, while Autron ingests its history. The agent still works during this window; some figures fill in as the sync completes.
