Use Autron with Claude AI

Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. Autron is listed in Claude's connector directory — add it by name to check advertising performance, explore keyword opportunities, and manage goals through a simple conversation.

What can you do with Autron + Claude?

Once connected, you can ask Claude things like:

  • "How are my ads performing this month?"

  • "What's my ACoS across all products?"

  • "Show me keyword opportunities for [product name]"

  • "Create a 25% TACoS goal for my new product"

  • "Pause my Spoons campaign"

Claude pulls real-time data from your Autron account and can take actions — like creating or adjusting advertising goals, or managing campaigns and bids — all through chat. Read‑only questions run automatically. Autron labels which of its tools make changes, but whether Claude asks you to confirm before running one is set in Claude, not in Autron — the agent permissions in your Autron account apply to the Autron Agent, not to a connected client.

You'll need an active Autron account with a connected Amazon Seller account before setting this up. If you don't have one yet, sign up here

Or find it yourself in Claude

  1. Open claude.ai (or the Claude desktop/mobile app)

  2. Go to Settings → Connectors

  3. Click Browse connectors

  6. You're all set!

You'll see a "Community" label on the Autron listing. That's Claude's way of saying Anthropic ran automated checks on the connector rather than a full hands-on review. Claude shows a short reminder about this before you connect. It doesn't change how Autron works or what it can do — once connected, it behaves exactly like any other connector.

Using Claude Team or Enterprise? An Organization Owner must first add the Autron connector in Organization Settings → Connectors. After that, each team member can connect individually from their own Settings page.

If you need to add Autron manually

Most people won't need this. If you're on an older version of Claude that doesn't show the directory, you can add Autron as a custom connector instead:

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors

  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Add custom connector

  3. In the Name field, type: Autron

  4. In the Remote MCP server URL field, paste: https://agent.autron.ai/api/mcp

  5. Click Add, then follow the sign-in prompts to authorize your Autron account

  4. Toggle Autron on

  5. Ask your question — Claude will use your Autron data to respond

Tip: You can leave Autron enabled across conversations. Claude will only access your Autron data when it's relevant to your question.

Working with multiple sellers or marketplaces

If you manage more than one Amazon seller account, or sell across multiple marketplaces (US, UK, DE, …), you can switch between them mid‑conversation:

  • "Which seller am I on?"

  • "Switch to my UK account"

  • "Switch the marketplace to Germany"

  • "List the sellers I have access to"

Subsequent questions and changes apply to whichever seller and marketplace is active. See Working with multiple seller accounts and marketplaces for the full guide.

Managing or removing the connection

You can see every AI assistant you've connected — and disconnect any of them — from Settings → AI assistants in your Autron account. Disconnecting stops future requests immediately. Data Claude has already received stays with Claude.

Troubleshooting

"I can't find Autron in the Connectors Directory"

Use the direct link above, or search from Settings → Connectors → Browse connectors. If your version of Claude doesn't show a directory, add Autron manually using the URL https://agent.autron.ai/api/mcp.

"Authorization failed"

Make sure you're signing in with the same email you use for your Autron account, and that your Amazon Seller account is connected in Autron.

"Claude isn't pulling my data"

Check that the Autron toggle is enabled for your conversation (+ button → Connectors → Autron should be toggled on).

"The agent says I have no data" or "wrong account"

If you have access to multiple sellers, the agent may be on a different one than you expect. Ask "which seller am I on?" and use "switch to seller name" to change context.
