Review Automation streamlines the review request process for new orders, boosting your product reviews with an Amazon-approved solution and removing the need to manually request reviews through Seller Central.

Background

There is only one Amazon-compliant method for soliciting product reviews and seller feedback: Amazon must send the buyer a standardized email after a purchase, like this one:

To send this email, the process requires manually triggering the request for each order via a button in Seller Central—a time-consuming and impractical task for all but the smallest sellers.

Fortunately, Autron's Review Automation feature provides an Amazon-approved, automated solution. It triggers review requests as early as permitted and smartly skips orders that were cancelled or refunded, optimizing the chances of receiving positive reviews.

How to Activate Review Automation

  1. Accessing Review Automation: Navigate to Reviews from the left-hand menu.

  2. Enabling the Feature: After linking your Autron and Amazon accounts, you'll need to manually activate Review Automation, as it is turned off by default. Simply toggle the slider to the "ON" position.

  3. For Multiple Marketplaces: If you have more than one Seller Central account linked or operate across multiple marketplaces with an Amazon region, you'll need to activate Review Automation individually for each store. Select the marketplace from the dropdown near your avatar, and turn on the feature for that store.

  4. Once activated, Review Automation will handle sending review requests for all eligible orders.

💡 Tip: When using Review Automation, it’s recommended to avoid manually requesting reviews through the Seller Central dashboard, as doing so won’t result in extra review requests for the same order. Additionally, it’s advisable to disable any third-party review solicitation services to prevent duplicate requests, which could potentially cause errors or conflicts with Amazon’s system.

Visualization and Tracking Options for Review Automation

The Review Automation dashboard provides a clear, visual representation of your review requests, allowing you to easily monitor and assess the impact of this feature. Below is an explanation of the key visual elements and how to use them:

  1. Filters:

At the top left of the dashboard, you'll find the Date Filter, which is set by default to display data from the Previous 360 Days. You can easily adjust this to focus on shorter time frames by clicking on the filter and selecting a different date range, allowing you to zoom in on specific periods of activity. Additionally, you can track the progress of a particular order by using the Amazon Order ID filter for quick and precise lookup.

  2. Requests Sent per Week Graph:

The main graph in the center tracks Requests Sent per Week, giving you a visual overview of how many review requests were sent over time. Each point on the graph represents the total number of requests for that week, with the number clearly displayed next to the point.

  3. Requests Summary and Hours Saved:

On the right-hand side, you’ll find two important metrics:

    • Requests Sent: This shows the total number of review requests sent over the selected date range.

    • Hours Saved: This metric calculates the amount of time saved by automating the review request process, eliminating the need for manual effort.

These figures help you assess the value Review Automation brings in terms of efficiency and workload reduction.

  4. Reviews Summary Table:

At the bottom of the dashboard, the Reviews Summary table provides detailed data on each order and its associated review request status:

    • Amazon Order ID: The unique identifier for each order.

    • Review Request Status: Displays whether a review request has been Sent or is Pending.

    • Review Request Date: If the request has been sent, this column will show the exact date and time.

    • Order Status: Indicates the current status of the order (e.g., Shipped).

    • Purchase Date, Ship Date, Delivery Date: Detailed timelines for each order to help track the fulfillment process alongside the review request.

ℹ️ Note: Amazon requires review requests to be sent between 5 and 30 days after delivery, creating a natural delay from the order date. This ensures customers have time to use the product before being asked for feedback. Sellers should note that requests are not sent immediately after shipping or delivery but are timed to comply with Amazon’s rules and maximize the chances of receiving meaningful reviews.

In conclusion, Autron’s Review Automation feature simplifies the process of soliciting product reviews, saving time and enhancing your feedback strategy with Amazon-compliant, automated review requests. By leveraging smart filters, clear tracking, and comprehensive visual tools, sellers can easily monitor their review performance and ensure they’re consistently engaging customers at the right moment. With Review Automation, you can focus on growing your business, while Autron takes care of increasing your product reviews and seller feedback in a seamless, efficient manner.
