Welcome to Autron
Hi, I'm Julian, co-founder of Autron. My journey from struggling with Amazon advertising to building Autron alongside my co-founder, Sean, was driven by a clear need: a simpler, more effective approach to PPC. With a background in machine learning and a PhD from the University of Cambridge, I set out to create a tool that lets sellers focus on growing their business — not managing ads.
This guide walks you through everything you need to know to get up and running with Autron.
What Autron does
Autron is a fully automated Amazon advertising platform. Once connected, it manages your Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns end to end — including:
Campaign creation — Autron builds and structures campaigns based on your catalog and goals.
Bid optimization — Bids are adjusted 24/7 using dayparting, weekly trends, and seasonality.
Keyword harvesting — High-performing search terms are automatically promoted to targeted campaigns.
Negative targeting — Wasteful search terms are identified and blocked to reduce spend.
Budget management — Campaign budgets are allocated and adjusted based on performance.
You don't need to touch your Amazon Advertising console — Autron handles everything. For more detail on how this works, see Understanding How Autron Creates and Manages Campaigns.

Why sellers choose Autron
Pay for results, not spend — You pay a commission on actual ad sales Autron generates, not a percentage of your ad spend. This aligns our incentives with yours.
AI Agent — Ask questions about your performance, get recommendations, and manage your goals through natural conversation. See What is the Autron AI Agent?
Deep analytics — The Insights dashboard gives you visibility into sales, traffic, profitability, advertising efficiency, customer behavior, and search term performance.
Built for all levels — Whether you're a solo seller launching your first product or an agency managing dozens of accounts, Autron scales with you.
Getting started
1. Create your account
Head to app.autron.ai and sign up with your name, company, and email. It takes less than a minute and you'll be logged in immediately.
See How to Create Your Autron Account for the full walkthrough.
2. Connect your Amazon account
A guided wizard walks you through linking your Amazon Seller Central and Advertising accounts. This involves two quick Amazon authorization steps — one for seller data (sales, inventory, products) and one for advertising (campaign management).
Once connected, Autron starts syncing your data. This can take up to 24 hours, and you'll receive an email when it's ready.
See Connecting Your Amazon Seller Account to Autron for the step-by-step guide.
If you sell in multiple Amazon regions (North America, Europe, Far East), you'll need to complete a separate onboarding for each region.
3. Set your advertising goal
This is the most important step — your goal tells Autron what to optimize for. Head to the Goals page and choose:
Objective — Maximize Sales (grow revenue) or Maximize Profit (optimize for margin after costs).
Strategy — Target a specific ACoS (advertising cost of sale) or TACoS (total advertising cost of sale, which includes organic revenue).
Target % — The ACoS or TACoS percentage you want Autron to aim for.
My recommendation: Start with Maximize Sales and set your target ACoS to match your historical average. Once Autron has stabilized performance (usually 2–4 weeks), gradually lower the target toward your ideal number. This avoids abrupt shifts that can hurt campaign performance.
You can also set goals at the individual product level if certain ASINs need a different strategy. And if you're launching a new product, consider enabling Turbo Mode to accelerate the AI's learning phase.
See Setting Up Your Global & Product Goals for the full guide.
After setup: what to expect
Once your goal is live, Autron begins creating and optimizing campaigns. Here's a rough timeline:
First few hours — Autron analyzes your catalog, historical data, and search terms.
Day 1–3 — Campaigns start appearing in your Amazon Advertising console. Don't adjust them manually — Autron is in control.
Week 1–2 — The AI is learning. Performance may fluctuate as it tests bids, keywords, and placements.
Week 3–4 — Performance stabilizes. You should start seeing clear trends in your dashboard.
Day 30+ — Autron is fully dialed in. This is a good time to revisit your goals and fine-tune targets.

Tips for getting the most out of Autron
Add your product costs — Enter your cost of goods on the Products page so Autron can calculate real profit margins. This also unlocks the Maximize Profit goal. See Track Profitability and Manage Product Costs.
Upload creatives — Add your brand logo, lifestyle images, and videos on the Creatives page. Autron uses these for Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns. See Adding and Managing Creatives.
Enable review automation — Autron can automatically request product reviews from buyers in compliance with Amazon's policies. More reviews means better conversion rates, which makes your ads more efficient. See Automate Amazon Product Review Requests.
Improve your listings — Aim for 4.5+ star ratings. Higher ratings significantly boost conversion rates, which in turn makes every ad dollar go further.
Use the AI Agent — Ask it about your performance, keyword opportunities, or profitability at any time. It can also help you update goals and product costs. See What is the Autron AI Agent?
Check your Insights — The Insights page gives you detailed views of sales, profitability, advertising efficiency, and search term performance. See Leveraging Insights for Amazon Success.
Don't touch the campaigns — Resist the urge to manually edit campaigns in Amazon Advertising. Autron is continuously optimizing, and manual changes can interfere with its strategy. See How to Pause or Edit Autron's Automation.
Explore the dashboard
Your Autron dashboard has several sections, each designed to help you manage a different part of your advertising:
