What Does Pausing Automation Do?
Pausing Autron disables its automatic optimization features. This means Autron will stop creating or editing your campaigns, keywords, and bids. However, any existing ads on Amazon will continue running unless you manually pause them within your Amazon Advertising Console.
Your goals, settings, and performance data will be saved, and automation will resume where it left off if re-enabled.
How to Pause Automation
You can pause automation from either the Global Goals section (for your entire account) or the By Product Goals section (for selected ASINs):
To pause automation for your whole account:
Go to Goals → Global Goals → click Disable Autron
To pause automation for specific products only:
Go to Goals → By Product Goals → locate the product(s) you want to pause → click Disable Autron
Once disabled, Autron will stop optimizing for those selected areas until you re-enable it.
What Happens After You Pause?
Autron stops all campaign creation, keyword testing, and bid optimization.
Any campaigns already live on Amazon will continue unless paused manually by you.
Your goals and campaign structure remain stored.
You can turn automation back on at any time and Autron will resume based on the last saved settings.
Should You Pause—Or Adjust Strategy Instead?
If you’re thinking of pausing due to performance concerns, we recommend reaching out to our team first. A small adjustment in your goals or strategy may improve results without interrupting progress.
How to Resume Automation
To resume:
Go back to the Goals tab.
In either Global Goals or By Product Goals, click Relaunch Autron/Save Goal.
Autron will continue learning and optimizing from where it left off, using the existing data and settings.
